This Video Of A Little Boy Missing His Frontliner Parents Will Totally Make You Tear Up
"Don't Mama and Abah love Iman anymore?"
There's no doubt that frontliners are truly heroes!
They've played a huge role in helping to mitigate the pandemic and keep us safe, while making such big sacrifices like working long hours, not being able to see their families, and taking on all the fear and anxiety that comes with their jobs.
The truth is we have no idea what it's really like to work on the frontlines. The sacrifices they and their families make every day just to ensure we stay healthy are formidable.
Watch the video below for a glimpse at the realities frontliners and their families face. Get some tissues ready gais, you're gonna need it huhu T___T
It starts off with a sad little boy who thinks his parents don't love him anymore because they haven't been around SOBSSSS OMG HIT US WITH THE FEELS RIGHT FROM THE START WHY DON'T YOU
Iman: "It's so lonely without Mama and Abah. They didn't even kiss my forehead... they didn't pick up my calls. Don't Mama and Abah love Iman anymore?"
But then his grandfather explains the reality - his parents do love him, but they're working hard to help others. They are soldiers in a war against an unseen enemy.
Atuk: "They do, they miss you so much. Mama and Abah have to work really hard because they need to help others."
Not gonna lie, seeing the realities of what frontliners go through every day really got us all emotional :(
Though Hari Kebangsaan is over, let's continue to honour the incredible frontliners who are fighting daily battles to make sure we all stay safe
Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari: "Like how they fought back then, all of you before me today are the fighters now, defending our country so we can all live in peace and harmony."
So, thank you frontliners. Thank you to each and every one of you. You made it possible for Malaysia to be where it is today, and we will always be grateful. <3
We wouldn't be here today without you; we would never have weathered this pandemic if you were not here. This Merdeka would not have been Merdeka Kita without you. Thank you to all frontliners.
