Local automotive website Carlist.my is back with its annual People's Choice Awards!

This year, you stand a chance to walk away with RM30,000 worth of prizes by voting for the most deserving car models.

Here's all you need to know to participate as a judge in Carlist's People's Choice Awards this year:

There are 18 categories to vote in, from hatchbacks and MPVs...

You will have three car models to choose from per category.

The categories are:

  • Compact Hatch
  • Mid Range Hatch
  • Premium Hatch
  • Compact MPV
  • Mid Range MPV
  • Premium MPV
  • Compact Sedan
  • Mid Range Sedan
  • Family Sedan
  • Premium Sedan
  • Continental Tyre Premium Luxury Sedan
  • Crossover
  • SUV
  • Continental Tyre Premium SUV
  • Continental Tyre Aspirational Car
  • Pick-up
  • Green Car
  • Budget Car
Nominations are derived from each of the respective brands' popularity, based on brand mentions and car buying data throughout the year.

Once votes have been placed for all 18 categories, fill in your personal details and answer a few questions to complete your entry.

Simply by voting for your favourite cars, you stand a chance to win prizes worth more than RM30,000

Prizes include a Harman Kardon Omni Bar and Soundbar, A&S Smart 55" TV, Harman Kardon Aura Plus Speakers, A&S Hurricane - S Wifi Speakers, A&S 300 2.1 Soundbars, and JBL Inspire 300 Sport Headphones.

This year, Carlist has also introduced a new award.

Editors' Choice Awards recognises the best cars in the eyes of motoring experts and journalists.

Writers and editors will rate the cars accordingly on multiple aspects before tabulating the scores and determining the winners.

The voting process will be well documented and scrutinised by Pannell Kerr Forster (PKF) Malaysia, a member of PKF International.

Voting ends on 11 November, and the full list of winners will appear on Carlist.my on 16 November.
