The New York-inspired eatery joins in the fun with its own burger-nasi lemak hybrid, as part of its #MYMEETSNY campaign that fuses Malaysian and American flavours.

Their NLB uses chicken thigh that is coated in a coconut milk-infused batter to really bring home that iconic nasi lemak flavour. Accompanied by spicy-sweet sambal, fried egg, ikan bilis and kacang goreng, they're served in between homemade butter brioche bun with a side of shoestring fries.

myBurgerLab's headline-making Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang Burger is an insanely delicious mix of juicy fried chicken topped with rendang sauce, ooey gooey peanut butter, pickled Japanese cucumber, sambal, bonito flakes and of course, the pièce de résistance - runny telur mata!

The Japanese-Thai eatery is serving up its own twist with its Nasi Lemak Sushi Burger. Sanoook's version starts off with seaweed-wrapped pandan rice, layered with chicken thigh, fried egg, sambal, and of course, a sprinkling of ikan bilis and peanuts.
