An agency under the Prime Minister's Department (Special Functions), Yayasan Peneraju focuses on increasing the quality, quantity and relevance of Bumiputera talents in line with efforts to develop Malaysia towards a high-income nation.
Whether you're a final year student, fresh graduate, junior workforce, working adult, or non-working adult, Yayasan Peneraju offers funding for programmes with credible learning institutions and training providers that will help equip you better for the workforce.

With the rapid advancement of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0) and digital transformation of businesses in Malaysia, the future workforce must be prepared to cope with the demands of a digital world.
So far, Yayasan Peneraju has offered more than 15 funding programmes in the field of technology, catering from final year undergraduate students up to working and non-working adults. Selected participants can enhance their knowledge and skills through professional and internationally recognised certifications from Fusionex, Microsoft, CompTIA, SAP, Rocheston, and more.
Peneraju Profesional offers full-time and part-time programmes for professional accounting certifications
Certified accountants are in huge demand, with Malaysia needing 60,000 professional accountants by 2030.
In an effort to achieve this goal, Yayasan Peneraju is offering sponsorships in fundamental accounting certifications like ACCA FIA, CFAB, as well as professional certifications like ACCA, CIMA, CPA Australia, ICAEW, and MICPA. The best part is that they have programmes for every level — from SPM leavers to working professionals, and even non-working adults.
To date, Yayasan Peneraju has produced at least 138 award recipients (75 of them are CAT, ACCA FIA & ACCA prize winners!) in respective accounting certifications offered.

- 23 to 40 years old
Academic Qualifications (one of the below):
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field(s) with CGPA of 2.75 and above
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field(s) with CGPA between 2.5 to 2.75 and have a minimum two years working experience.
b. Peneraju Teknologi Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert

- Bumiputera Malaysian citizens
- 22 years old and below
Academic Qualifications (one of the below):
- Accredited Diploma in Accounting/relevant certification with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 and exemption of three papers from ACCA
- CAT/ACCA FIA with average marks of 65% and above
c. Peneraju Profesional Akauntan Siswazah (ACCA)
- Bumiputera Malaysian citizens
- 25 years old and below
Academic Qualifications:
- Accredited Bachelor Degree in Accounting/relevant certification with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 and exemption of nine papers from ACCA
2. Full Funding for MICPA Certification

- Bumiputera Malaysian citizens
- 25 years old and below
Academic Qualifications:
- Accredited Bachelor Degree in Accounting/relevant certification with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 and exemption of four papers from MICPA

- Minimum of one semester left to complete
b. Peneraju Sponsorship for Undergraduates – Perakaunan
- Bumiputera Malaysian citizens
- 19 to 23 years old
Academic Qualifications:
- STPM/Foundation/Matriculation/CAT/CFAB/Diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in selected professional accounting certification on a full-time basis at any of Yayasan Peneraju’s recognised institutions
- Minimum of three papers or semester left to complete

Who is eligible?
a. Peneraju Sponsorship for Graduates – Perakaunan
- Bumiputera Malaysian citizens
- 21 to 28 years old
Academic Qualifications:
- Holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Graduated less than 3 years and with less than 3 years working experience
- Currently enrolled in selected professional accounting certification on a full-time or part time basis at any of Yayasan Peneraju’s recognised institutions
- Minimum of two or three papers or one semester left to complete
b. Peneraju Sponsorship for Working/Non-Working Adults
- Bumiputera Malaysian citizens
- 21 to 45 years old
- Possess a minimum of three years working experience (subject to certain work experience requirements which may be set by the certification/professional bodies)
- Other minimum academic/technical qualification set by certification/professional bodies
Funding Coverage for Accounting Programmes:
Full: Tuition, professional and examination fees, allowance, Nurture & Development Programme, and accommodation
Partial: One-off assistance (for working/non working adults category only), tuition fees, 100% professional and examination fees
