12 Firemen Rush To JB Hospital After Man Gets Ring Stuck On Broken Finger

A man in Johor suffered serious injuries after getting his ring stuck to the door handle of a lorry
According to Harian Metro, the incident caused the 23-year-old man's finger to tear and he could not remove the ring he was wearing.
While being treated at Sultan Ismail Hospital (HSI) in Johor Bahru, they also found that he had fractured his ring finger.
The emergency ward had to seek assistance from the Fire and Rescue Department to remove the ring
Tebrau Fire and Rescue Department operations chief Khairul Azhar Abdul Aziz told the Malay daily that his team received a call at 3.39pm on Monday, 30 November.
He explained that the hospital required the rescue department's help to remove the ring using a special tool.
"The victim said that his finger got stuck to the door handle while getting off a lorry, causing the skin on his finger to tear," he said.
"He went to HSI to receive further treatment and the hospital called firemen to help cut the ring he was wearing."

Sinar Harian reported that a total of 12 firemen were dispatched to the hospital and it took them roughly 20 minutes to cut the ring.
