"Janushaa has been chosen after a rigorous selection process to represent Malaysia at the prestigious USNA, where she will spend the next four years learning to be a professional military officer alongside cadets from around the world," the US Embassy said in a statement quoted by Malaysiakini.

Janushhaa will be pursuing a degree in aerospace engineering at USNA before embarking on a career as a fighter jet pilot.

A special ceremony was held in Kuala Lipis, Pahang, last month to celebrate Janushaa's success

The ceremony was attended by US ambassador Kamal Shirin Lakhdir who presented Janushaa with her letter of acceptance.

Congrats, Janushaa! We wish you all the best in your future endeavours! :D
