22-Year-Old Malaysian Student Slips And Falls To His Death From Sydney Apartment
His remains will be brought back to Malaysia for burial after post-mortem.

A Malaysian student has died after falling off his apartment in Sydney, Australia, yesterday, 6 August
According to Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), 22-year-old Amirul Ashraff Md Azha's death was caused after he slipped off his apartment building.
Amirul was a former Langkawi MARA Junior Science College (MRSM) student from Taiping, Perak and was spending his final year at the University of Technology Sydney studying Mechatronic Engineering, reported Malay Mail.
The deceased's father, Md Azhar Hasbullah was informed of the incident by MARA
"I was contacted by a MARA representative in Australia this evening. I was told that my son fell from his apartment, located about five kilometres from the university," the 48-year-old father was quoted as saying by NST Online on Tuesday.
"I'm still waiting for further details from MARA, as he is a MARA student," he added.
The grief-stricken father hinted at Amirul being under a lot of pressure as he had failed five subjects
"My son had already submitted an appeal to MARA. I feel that he was under a lot of pressure," NST Online quoted the father as saying.
"He did not tell me of any other problems apart from having failed the five subjects."
Azhar shared that Amirul was the eldest of three sibilings, adding that the last time he spoke to him was on his birthday, 30 July.
MARA has since released a statement, confirming that Amirul was a sponsored student
"MARA wishes heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased," the Malaysian government agency said in the statement.
"Overseas MARA officers in Australia rushed to the scene shortly after the incident was reported, for identification purposes," the statement added.
MARA has assured that they will work together with the embassy in Australia to ensure that the remains are returned to the family for burial once the post-mortem has concluded.
According to Azhar, the funeral is expected to take place in Taiping.
