4-Year-Old Boy In Kajang Dies After His Mum's Boyfriend Allegedly Beat Him Unconscious
Police have classified the case as murder.

A four-year-old boy died after his mother's boyfriend allegedly beat him unconscious at the Simfoni Apartments in Eco Majestic, Semenyih
The boy is believed to have died of physical abuse at the hands of his mother's boyfriend.
The mother, aged 31, had brought the unconscious boy to the Kajang Hospital's emergency department at 1.20pm on Thursday, 18 February. He was, however, pronounced dead upon arrival.
Doctors found marks on several parts of his body including his genitals
According to Kajang district police chief ACP Mohd Zaid Hassan, they were alerted to the case by medical staff at the Kajang Hospital Emergency Department on Thursday, reported The Star.
"Doctors pronounced him dead and further checks revealed the victim had injuries to his private parts and bruises to several parts of his body," he was reported as saying yesterday, 19 February.
ACP Mohd Zaid said that initial investigations found the victim was believed to have been beaten unconscious by his mother's boyfriend before he was rushed to the hospital.
Police have since arrested both the mother and her boyfriend
The man, aged 28, is a tow truck driver.
Both of them have been remanded for six days from Friday.
"We have classified the case as murder," he said, urging anyone with information to the incident to contact the nearest police station or contact the Investigating Officer, ASP Mohd Faizal Amir at 011-33319871.
