5-Vehicle Road Accident Leaves 5 People Injured In KL

Early Sunday morning, 2 May, five individuals suffered massive injuries in an accident involving five vehicles on Jalan Loke Yew, Kuala Lumpur

The accident happened at around 6.34am today.

In a statement, the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Center said that they received a call from a member of the public, following which they dispatched members from Balai Pudu, Hang Tuah, and Bandar Tun Razak.

The accident involved a one-tonne lorry, a van, a Toyota Hilux, a Lexus, and Perodua Myvi. Photos show the vehicles were badly damaged.

All five injured in the accident are men

Of the five, three of the victims are in stable condition while one victim suffered a broken leg and another was found trapped when the fire brigade arrived, according to the statement.

The firefighters managed to successfully free him by 7.18am.

All the injured victims have been sent to two hospitals, namely Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) and Tuanku Muhriz Chancellor's Hospital (HCTM) in Cheras for further treatment.
