The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is investigating a senior judge who has been accused of sexually harassing a married woman in her home

The incident happened in August 2020, however, the victim lodged her report in December last year at the Ampang Jaya district police, claiming that she found the judge lying on her bed without any clothes on.

According to Free Malaysia Today, the judge had visited the 57-year-old woman's family home close to midnight and allegedly asked for permission to use the master bedroom to perform his prayers.

However, she became concerned when the man stayed in the bedroom for an unusually long time and decided to check on him. As she went in, she was shocked to find him sleeping naked on her bed.

He was then said to have left the house at about 3am, reported Malaysiakini.

Ampang Jaya district police chief ACP Mohamad Farouk Eshak said that they are still in the midst of investigating the matter

According to The Malaysian Insight, Farouk shared that they had initially submitted the investigation paper but it was sent back by the deputy public prosecutor with a request for further information.

Meanwhile, the victim also alleged that as the judge was leaving her house, he remarked that she was beautiful and had strong faith, despite his actions earlier, reported Free Malaysia Today.

At the time of the incident, the woman's husband was bedridden.
