A Woman In JB Allegedly Beat Her Husband To Death
The 35-year-old, who is now under a seven-day remand, tested positive for drugs.

A 35-year-old woman allegedly beat her husband to death at their home in Flat Paya Nipah, Taman Daya, Johor Bahru yesterday morning
The 44-year-old victim was found lying on the floor during the 7.50am incident on 15 July.
According to Johor Bahru south district police chief ACP Raub Selamat, an initial investigation found that the victim was believed to have been beaten by his wife with a blunt object, which then led to his death.
"The victim's son, who was in the house at the time, is the main witness. Police are still investigating the motive of the incident and whether the suspect used a weapon," New Straits Times quoted Raub as saying.
The couple has two children, aged two and 11.
The wife, who was arrested a couple of hours later yesterday, has since been remanded for seven days to assist into the investigation
The remand order was issued by senior assistant registrar Melody Woon Sze Mun at the Johor Baru magistrate court, where the woman, wearing a white t-shirt and lock-up pants, was brought today, 16 July.
The motive for the murder is still under investigation.
Meanwhile, police are also looking for a man who is believed to be involved in the case, which is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
The 35-year-old woman has three previous records
Raub said the woman tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine, adding that she also has two previous drug-related offences and one criminal case of causing injury.
She was believed to be under the influence of drugs when she committed the crime, Raud said.
