Actor Ng Man Tat's Ashes Will Be Brought Back To M'sia So That His Family Can Be With Him
Actor-director Stephen Chow visited Ng Man Tat for nine minutes at his funeral.

Late Hong Kong comedy superstar Richard Ng Man Tat's ashes will be flown back to Malaysia following his body's cremation in Hong Kong yesterday, 8 March
According to Oriental Daily, Ng told his younger brother — Li Da — that he wanted his ashes to be brought back to Malaysia so that he could be with his wife and children.
For the past 25 years, Ng called Malaysia his second home. He was married to Segamat-born Hou Shan Yan, who was the second runner-up of a beauty pageant, in 1996.
Together, they share a daughter and a son, aged 25 and 18 respectively.
The 70-year-old veteran actor succumbed to liver cancer on 27 February. He was surrounded by his family during his last hours before passing on.

"Miss you forever," reads a note written by Stephen Chow above a condolence flower stand (right).
Image via HK01 via China PressNg's funeral was done according to Christian funeral rites. He was then transported to Cape Collinson, Chai Wan for cremation.
"My brother said that he wanted to place his ashes in Malaysia so that he could accompany his wife and children," Li Da told reporters on Sunday, 7 March.
Due to unfamiliarity with the arrangement in Malaysia, Li Da said the family will be finding a place to rest Ng's ashes.
New Straits Times reported that Li Da declined to reveal where his brother's ashes would be placed.

TODAYonline reported that Chow was at Universal Funeral Parlour for nine minutes on Sunday. He left without speaking to reporters stationed outside the premise.
The famed director was said to have offered his condolences to Ng's family. He also told actor Tin Kai Man, who arranged the funeral, "Let me know if there's anything else I can do."
Chow and Ng have a long history of acting together. Their ability to complement each other's characters has earned them fame in the comedy scene.
The duo was rumoured to have fallen out years ago, but Ng previously clarified that they merely drifted apart.
Ng's brother echoed the same while speaking to reporters, saying, "The two of them have always been good friends. My brother talked about it before."
China Press noted that 'four heavenly kings' Andy Lau, Jacky Cheung, Aaron Kwok, and Leon Lai sent condolences flowers to Ng's funeral.
Actors Louis Koo, Jackie Chan, Simon Yam, Nancy Sit, Roy Cheung, Julian Cheung, Anita Yuen, Wu Jing, Sandra Ng, Miriam Yeung, Adam Cheng, Gordon Lam, Teresa Mo, Evergreen Mak, and Fennie Yuen also did the same.
