Air Selangor just announced that they have completed maintenance works at the Sungai Selangor Phase 1 Water Treatment Plant

In a statement, they wrote that upgrading and maintenance of critical assets at the water treatment plant were completed around 5am today, 14 October.

Until around 6am, Air Selangor worked on stabilising water treatment systems

They noted in their statement that water had already been channelled into distribution systems. Meanwhile, the supply to consumers will be distributed in stages starting from 5pm today.

However, the duration of disruption and restoration of water supply will vary depending on the location of a consumer's premises and the water pressure in the distribution systems.

Air Selangor has set aside four days for water supply to fully recover

In their statement, they also assured that they will continue to mobilise alternative water supply to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres, COVID-19 quarantine and treatment centres, and vaccination centres.
