In a post shared on his social media, Anwar wrote, "Ready to head to Parliament for the tabling of Belanjawan 2026 Malaysia MADANI. Pray that it goes smoothly, Insya-Allah."
He also included a poetic four-line verse, reflecting hope and national spirit:
Camar terbang menuju ke darat
Rentasi ombak di pantai suci
Belanjawan dibentang penuhi hasrat
Makmur rakyat bangunkan pertiwi
The verse, loosely translated, conveys the aspiration for the nation's prosperity and the people's wellbeing through the upcoming Belanjawan.
Anwar is expected to outline key priorities under the Malaysia MADANI framework, focusing on economic resilience, social equity, and national development.
