#Budget2023: Malaysian Youth Aged Between 18 And 20 To Receive RM200 E-Wallet Credit

Malaysian students above the age of 21 will also benefit from this initiative.

Malaysian youth aged between 18 and 20 and students above the age of 21 will be receiving RM200 worth of e-wallet credits, said Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz

During the tabling of the Supply Bill 2023 today, 7 October, the Finance Minister said the proposed implementation will be given under the ePemula initiative.

He said the government will allocate RM400 million for the purpose, and two million Malaysians are expected to benefit from it.

New Straits Times reported that the government increased the handout amount from RM150 to RM200.

"Meanwhile, RM305 million will be allocated for youth entrepreneurs," he said when tabling Budget 2023 in the Dewan Rakyat today.
