Another commented, "Thank you China for your gifts to the world and your thoughtful, inspirational expressions in local languages e.g. 'bukit sama di daki', 'we are of the same wave', etc. We stand with you in thoughts and prayers as we end COVID-19," Mee-Wah Tan wrote.
China has seen a great reduction in COVID-19 cases, after successfully taking several steps to contain the virus.
However, other countries like Italy, US, and Malaysia are now dealing with an increasing number of cases daily.
Aside from sending aid to Malaysia, China has donated coronavirus testing kits to Cambodia, sent medical supplies like masks, ventilators, and even their own doctors to Italy, France, Iran, and Iraq.
According to The Guardian, the country has also pledged to help the Philippines, Spain, and other nations with the COVID-19 outbreak.
Last week, 12 March, a team of medical staff left for Italy with 30 tonnes worth of medical supplies
"In this moment of great stress, of great difficulty, we are relieved to have this arrival of supplies. It is true that it will help only temporarily, but it is still important," said the head of the Italian Red Cross, Francesco Rocca, according to Reuters.
As of today, 20 March, it has been reported that Italy's death tolls have surpassed China's numbers.
