Convenience Store Owner & Drunk Customer Involved In The "One By One" Brawl Make Up

The saying "all's well that ends well" seems to sum up the viral brawl between a convenience store owner and a drunk customer in Penang
The duo were seen involved in a brawl, with the video of the incident going viral.
According to the police, on the night of 3 June, the customer had entered the grocery store in Seberang Jaya to buy liquor but a misunderstanding between the two escalated into fisticuffs.
The police arrested both of them under Sections 324 and 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt, as well as Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955 for behaving in a threatening or insulting manner.
They were detained for two days and released on Saturday, 8 June.
Following their release, the grocery store owner has gained fame for winning the "one-by-one" fight, which saw the customer being knocked to the ground
The store owner, identified by his surname Wu (transliteration), revealed to China Press that he was crowned the Penang champion in the International Taekwondo Federation competition in 1996.
The customer also released a video, admitting that he was drunk that night.
He apologised for it and said that he has a black belt in karate.
"If I wasn't drunk, I would've beaten him," he claimed.

Penang police chief Datuk Hamzah Ahmad said that both men have retracted their police reports and the case has been classified as No Further Action (NFA), reported the New Straits Times.
Meanwhile, the grocery shop owner told China Press that he was called to the police station in Bandar Bertam, Bukit Mertajam on Monday night, 10 June.
According to Wu, when he arrived, the Indian Malaysian man was also present at the station.
"The investigating officer said that they would give us one last chance to see if we were willing to reconcile. In the end, both of us accepted the police's offer and shook our hands in peace," Wu said, stressing that it was a satisfactory outcome to the issue.
He hoped that things could cool down as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Wu, who has a total of six cats in his store, said that following the brawl, his cats have also become "famous overnight"
They are attracting many people to take photos with them, he said.
