Couple Falls Into The Sea After An Altercation On Penang Bridge
Both of them were rescued by a man believed to be a soldier.

A man and a woman reportedly fell from the Penang Bridge at KM2.8 towards Perai after an altercation last night, 15 January
The couple argued on the bridge, leading to both individuals falling into the sea.
A man who was passing by and saw the incident jumped into the sea to rescue the two individuals.
The man, who is believed to be a soldier, helped the couple, both in their 30s, onto a fishing boat.
The couple was travelling in a Honda Civic
"They were in a Honda Civic and stopped on the bridge. An altercation occurred before they fell into the water," Prai fire and rescue department operations officer Shahrul Munawer Taharen explained to Harian Metro today, 16 January.
After being helped onto the fishing boat, the couple were taken to the Batu Uban Marine Police Force jetty for initial treatment. The man suffered head injuries and was later transported to Penang Hospital.
The incident gained attention on social media after a 17-second video showing the couple floating on the water went viral
Both individuals were handed over to the police for the next course of action.
