Police have confirmed receiving a missing persons report involving a family of three, including a 9-year-old boy, in Kubang Pasu, Kedah

The missing family members have been identified as 36-year-old Siti Zulaikha Ahmad Sabri, her 39-year-old husband Khairul Azhar Ahmad, and their son, Adid.

According to Sinar Harian, the report was lodged by Siti Zulaikha's father at the Bukit Kayu Hitam police station on Monday, 3 August.

Kubang Pasu police chief Supt Mohd Radzi Abdul Rahim said the family has not been reachable since 20 July, prompting the father to fear for their safety.

He added that the complainant had contacted his grandson's school teacher and discovered that the child had also been absent from school.

Repeated attempts to reach both Siti Zulaikha and Khairul by phone were also unsuccessful, further raising concerns over their safety and whereabouts.
