Free Rides For People With Disabilities On Klang Valley & North-Bound KTMs This Weekend
The free rides are in conjunction with International Day of Persons with Disabilities that falls on Saturday, 3 December.

In conjunction with International Day of Persons with Disabilities (OKU), Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) is offering free rides to OKU and their chaperones this weekend
According to KTMB, the free rides will be available on Saturday, 3 December, and Sunday, 4 December, on the Klang Valley and Northern Sector KTM lines.
"The free ride initiative for OKU is being offered for the second time after it received an encouraging response when introduced last year," KTMB said via Bernama in a statement yesterday, 1 December.
"Statistics show that a total of 37,363 OKU used the KTM Komuter service in 2021, meanwhile statistics show an increase of 74,458 disabled passengers in October this year."
KTMB said the free rides are the company's way of showing how much they value and care about OKU who use their services.
Interested individuals will have to show their OKU Identification Cards issued by the Social Welfare Department and their identification cards (IC) to claim the offer
OKU are eligible to bring only one companion for this free ride.
The Klang Valley service counters will provide a Komlink OKU Card or token, while the Northern Sector line will use QR tickets.
Individuals will only be able to claim one-way or two-way travel tickets with the offer, weekly and monthly passes are not included.
