20 Men Beat Up A Guy After He Accidentally Bumped Into One Of Them At A Club In Cheras
The victim has been hospitalised with internal injuries.
In an incident that happened at 3.27am Friday, 7 June, a man was beaten up by a group of twenty people at a club in Cheras Selatan
All because of an accidental bump of shoulders during which the victim bumped into one of the men while they were crossing paths, according to a Bernama report.
Kajang district police chief ACP Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof said that the incident took place outside an entertainment centre at Dataran C180 in Cheras Selatan, where two men crossing paths accidentally knocked each other's shoulders.
He then called 20 of his friends to come over to beat the guy
"A group of them then attacked the man until he was injured," ACP Ahmad Dzaffir said in a statement yesterday, adding that the victim was sent to the Kajang Hospital before he was referred to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital due to internal injuries.
Police have arrested nine suspects so far
Bernama reported that the nine of them were arrested following the assault.
They will be placed under remand today, 8 June, under Section 148 and Section 326 of the Penal Code for rioting and causing grievous hurt.
