MyKads Can Now Be Issued In 45 Minutes By JPN Mobile Buses
The expedition began on 15 September and will end on 30 September.
National Registration Department (JPN) director-general Datuk Mohamad Razin Abdullah announced earlier today, 24 September, that the JPN Mobile Bus service will now issue MyKads in 45 minutes to an hour
The service, which began in July, enables people to apply for MyKad at the bus and have it printed and delivered to them directly.
According to Bernama, Razin was speaking to reporters after flagging off the 2018 JPN Day Mobile Expedition for the Eastern and Southern Zones today.
Razin said that the service is in line with the department's slogan
Bernama reported the director-general as saying that the 45-minute completion of the MyKad is to improve the department's delivery service, in line with its slogan "JPN with people at heart".
"Earlier, clients who applied (for MyKads) via JPN Mobile Bus at selected locations can only collect their ready MyKads at JPN branches in five days," Razin added.
The JPN Mobile Expedition began in Sarawak, Sabah, and the Northern Zones
It started on 15 September and will end on 30 September.
