Malaysian influencer Seri Azlina, popularly known as Kim Seri, has allegedly been "kicked out" of her own namesake restaurant serving halal Malaysian cuisine in Seoul, South Korea, amid allegations of fraud involving her travel agency

Taking to her Instagram Story earlier this week, the embattled influencer stated that she no longer owns the restaurant, which still carries her brand name, Kim Seri.

However, the restaurant is reportedly no longer associated with her, as it has changed management.

"Allah knows who worked hard to get the restaurant from the owner. Allah knows how hard I worked to start the business. I took months to plan and decorate. And suddenly today, I was kicked out. The business world is truly cruel. Welcome to the world of the pretenders," Kim Seri stated, as reported by Yahoo! Life.

In an Instagram Story on 18 December, she announced her departure from the restaurant

Meanwhile, she has denied fleeing to Japan to escape legal action

According to her, she is still in South Korea.

"I never intended to run to Japan, and I never planned to live in Japan. I am still in Korea.

"I am still here [in South Korea] cooperating with any investigations conducted on me," she said in an Instagram post on Thursday, 19 December.

The influencer, who also owns a clothing brand called KimSeri Abaya, had earlier issued a public apology after dissatisfied holiday-goers shared their grievances about her alleged mismanagement of their week-long trips to South Korea, as well as her and her travel agency's repeated failure to meet promises made in advertisements.
