Commuters can continue enjoying free rides on the LRT3, also known as the Shah Alam Line, until 14 August
In a statement today, 31 July, Rapid KL said the extension aims to allow more commuters to experience and familiarise themselves with the new rail service connecting Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, and Klang.
The free ride promotion was initially introduced when the line officially opened on 29 June and was originally scheduled to end today.

Apart from free train rides, commuters can also continue using the Shah Alam Line's feeder bus services and Park N' Ride facilities at no cost during this period
Rapid KL said the initiative aims to encourage Malaysians to choose public transportation as their primary mode of daily travel.
"The extension is expected to benefit more commuters, reduce daily travel costs, and boost public confidence in the efficiency and comfort of the country's public transport system," it said.
It advised commuters to plan their journeys in advance and follow all rules and guidelines to ensure a safe and smooth journey.
