Malaysia Climbs Back To 3-Digit COVID-19 Cases In One Day

The Ministry of Health just announced that there are 100 new COVID-19 cases today, 8 September
During the press conference announcing COVID-19 updates, Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that this brings the number of cases in Malaysia to a total of 9,559.
Malaysia has not seen a three-digit increase of cases in a day since 4 June, which recorded 277 cases
Out of the 100 new cases, 62 of them are linked to the Benteng Lahad Datu cluster in Sabah and Sarawak. Meanwhile, the remaining 23 are from the Sungai cluster in Kedah and Perlis.
Seven patients are currently receiving treatment in Intensive Care Units around the nation, with four of them requiring breathing assistance
There have been no deaths reported within the past day while 12 people have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
