Man Arrested For Dragging Cat With A Rope While It Screeches In Pain
The incident occurred at a condominium in Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur.

The police have arrested a man seen dragging a cat by a rope around its neck at a condominium in Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur
According to the New Straits Times, Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said the suspect was arrested at his residence at 6.10pm on Sunday, 24 November.
The suspect, a 43-year-old man, will be investigated under Section 428 of the Penal Code for mischief involving the killing or maiming of an animal.
The arrest comes after a nine-second video surfaced showing the suspect dragging a cat that screeched in excruciating pain and even urinated from the trauma
After the video went viral, the Malaysia Animal Association urged the witness who recorded the incident to lodge a police report.
The non-governmental organisation also offered a reward of RM3,000 for testifying against the suspect until he is charged and sentenced.
