Man Attacked By MBPJ Officer Says Dogs Guard His Factory That Is Far Away From Residences
Patrick Khoo said he had never received complaints about the dogs from people around the area.

A 69-year-old man who was assaulted by a Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) officer has lodged a police report against the city council today, 24 March
According to New Straits Times, Patrick Khoo said he was trying to protect his dogs during an MBPJ operation to round up strays before he was assaulted by the authorities on Jalan 18/17, Taman Kanagapuram, Petaling Jaya.
He said two of his dogs and one puppy were taken away by the MBPJ personnel.
"I was in my factory around 8pm and I heard the dogs that were guarding the premises barking," he told the English daily outside of the Petaling Jaya district police headquarters.
"I saw an unfamiliar group of men in uniform with a truck. They came without explaining anything to me and attacked me for defending my dogs."

"I have raised the dogs for many years. We can trust dogs to be our guards," he related.
"My factory is also located away from the residential area so there have never been any complaints from the public about any noise in all these years."
Meanwhile, MBPJ said that they are aware of the incident
"In connection with the incident, an internal investigation committee was established and the case is now under investigation," the city council said in a statement today, 24 March.
"MBPJ would like to emphasise that we will not compromise and protect any personnel if it is proven that they have committed a mistake."
