Klang Man Found Dead In The Driver's Seat Of A Rented McLaren Outside KL Nightclub

The body belongs to a 28-year-old man who was discovered inside the rented luxury sports car.

A 28-year-old man was found dead in the driver's seat of a rented McLaren 570S sports car outside a nightclub in Pudu, Kuala Lumpur on Monday afternoon, 30 May

A member of the public made a distress call to report the discovery of the body at 6.42pm, according to Free Malaysia Today.

Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department was sent to the scene and forced open the car door, medics then confirmed that the man was deceased.

Dang Wangi district police chief ACP Noor Dellhan Yahaya said that based on initial investigations, the car was found to be rented.

According to WapCar, certain MacLaren models are available for rent at up to RM7,500 a day. The price of a McLaren 570S ranges between RM1.8 million and RM2 million, reported Free Malaysia Today.

"We have classified this case as sudden death as there are no signs of criminal elements as of right now," he added

According to Berita Harian, initial inspection revealed that the body did not have visible signs of injuries.

The body was sent to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for a post-mortem.

"We are also investigating how the car ended up outside the nightclub," said Noor Delhan.
