Man Ambushed & Shot 4 Times While Driving Outside Sungai Buloh Golf Club

A 42-year-old man was shot dead in broad daylight near a golf course at Bukit Rahman Putra, Sungai Buloh on Monday, 16 August

According to The Star, the victim was driving home in a Range Rover SUV at about 1.30pm when a Toyota Hilux and a Lexus approached his vehicle and opened fire.

The gunmen then fled the scene.

The victim suffered four gunshot wounds and was rushed to Sungai Buloh Hospital but died from his injuries around 2.45pm

Selangor criminal investigation department chief SAC Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal has confirmed the incident with Bernama.

He added that the victim had a criminal record.

"We have classified the case as murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code," Nik Ezanee said.

According to China Press, the victim was the leader of a local gang and once fled overseas to escape the police.

Police are still investigating the identity of the assailants and the motive behind the shooting

So far, no arrest has been made.

Sungai Buloh district police chief Supt Shafa'aton Abu Bakar urged anyone with information about the incident to contact the nearest police station or call +603-61561222 to aid in the investigation.
