Mix FM Presenter's Luggage Gets Violently Broken Into & What He Finds Inside Is Shocking
The bag's lock was broken, and the contents of their bag were in complete disarray.

Local radio presenter Prem Shanker and his wife, Kara Simon, returned to Kuala Lumpur after a long flight, only to discover later that their luggage had been forcibly broken into and its contents amiss
Prem, 39, is one of the most recognisable voices in Malaysia, working as a radio presenter on Mix FM's Breakfast Show. Meanwhile, his wife, Kara Simon, 33, is a humanitarian who works at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
The couple detailed the incident on social media yesterday evening, 13 December, after their flight home from Madrid, Spain, whereupon they stopped in Abu Dhabi, UAE, before they reached their final destination at KLIA.
Upon collecting their luggage, they noticed that the protective cover on one of their bags was missing, and the zippers and luggage lock had been broken.
Jet-lagged after two flights, the couple gave the strange occurrences the benefit of the doubt, and assumed it was a series of harmless accidents
"We honestly thought it was just the cover that was ripped away, maybe due to the baggage carousel," Prem told SAYS.
"And [as for] the break in the lock, I didn’t think too much of it [because] it happens, and I kesian these baggage handlers; they carry heavy stuff 24/7."
"So that, coupled with us having to wait more than 40 minutes to collect our luggage, and also having to rush home for a close friend's wedding celebration, we just really wanted to get home," the 39-year-old said.
It was only after they returned home from the party that the pair decided to unpack, and they were shocked by what they discovered
The suitcase appeared to have been forced open, and its contents were in complete disarray, although nothing was stolen.
Equally unsettling were the mysterious items they found amongst their belongings, which appeared to belong to other passengers.
This ranged from perfume, clothes, receipts, a doctor's letter written in a foreign language, a small broken statuette wrapped in tissue paper, lacy red lingerie, and even a bag tag for Aerolíneas Argentinas, which is an Argentinian airline.
They also found their luggage cover inside the bag.
"Clearly, somebody took the cover off, and they just stuffed it in there," Kara said.
Prem promptly uploaded the video to his socials to raise public awareness, and warned others to check their luggage before exiting the airport
"Imagine drugs or whatever illegal stuff being put inside our bag and then being stopped by Malaysian customs. Oh, the feeling still gives me the shivers," the radio presenter said.
The couple is currently looking for answers on who may have been responsible for the incident and has since contacted all parties involved.
"[We're] not sure who’s at fault. Was it the airline Etihad Airways? Was it ... Madrid-Barajas Airport? Or was it the airport in Malaysia?" Prem wrote in the caption of his video.
Etihad Airways has since responded to the couple's post on Instagram and is currently investigating the incident
Other netizens chimed in with their own experiences and explanations for what might've happened
Singer and TV host Hunny Madu theorised that whoever was responsible probably broke into multiple suitcases at once, and haphazardly stuffed their belongings back into the bags.
Tengku Zatashah, the second daughter of the current and ninth Sultan of Selangor, also commented on Instagram, stating baggage handlers in European airports are known to commit such crimes.
