MOH Announces Only 36 New Positive COVID-19 Cases And 0 Deaths In The Last 24 Hours
According to the ministry, there are currently five major COVID-19 clusters in the nation.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah just announced that there are only 36 new cases of COVID-19 today, 20 April
During the press conference announcing the daily COVID-19 updates, he said that this brings the number of cases in Malaysia to a total of 5,425.
Meanwhile, only 2,041 out of the total are active cases.
He also added that a total of 3,295 patients have been discharged from hospitals since the disease was first identified in the country
Within the past 24 hours, 98 patients have fully recovered.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) has been recording a stable increase in the number of cured patients.
60.74% of the total infected have recovered from the novel coronavirus.
Meanwhile, there are currently 45 patients receiving treatment in Intensive Care Units, with 28 of them requiring breathing assistance.

According to MOH, they are:
1. Seri Petaling Mosque tabligh gathering with 1,951 cases.
2. Church conference with 135 cases.
3. Sendayan with 77 cases.
4. Patients Under Investigation (PUI) in Kuching with 54 cases.
5. Magetan East Java with 54 cases.
