A MR DIY store in Negeri Sembilan was robbed by a group of suspects who are believed to be frequent break-in criminals, causing the business to suffer a loss of nearly RM10,000
According to China Press, the robbery was reported by the store's assistant manager in Mantin, Seremban, at 9am on Sunday, 27 November.
It was understood that the robbers removed the closed-circuit television (CCTV) decoder in the store and took the cash in three safes.
About RM7,000 in cash was stolen.
Police suspect that the culprits have committed robberies before because of how prepared they were while breaking into the MR DIY store
Other than removing the evidence from the CCTV, the robbers also came with a bolt cutter to cut off the gate lock before sneaking into the store.
China Press reporters noted that the store was ransacked, with products scattered over the store's three floors.
It was believed that the robbers used hammers and iron pliers found in the store to pry open the safes before taking away the cash.
