M'sian Dies In Singapore Road Accident On The Day He Was Supposed To Return Home
A colleague said he already had a vaccinated travel lane (VTL) bus ticket and a COVID-19 test result prepared for the trip.

A Malaysian working in Singapore died in a road accident in Tampines on the day he was about to return home to Batu Pahat, Johor last week
According to The New Paper, the 36-year-old welding technician was riding his motorcycle on Tampines Avenue 1 when the accident occurred around 2am on Thursday, 24 February.
It was reported that Mohammad Syaifful was trying to avoid a 72-year-old man crossing the street when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.
He died after succumbing to his injuries. Meanwhile, the elderly pedestrian was also taken to a hospital.
A colleague of Syaifful's, who was also on her way home in the wee hours of the morning, said she chanced upon him on the road unconscious and bleeding from the head
She said it was raining at the time of the accident.
The colleague also told local Chinese newspaper, Shin Min Daily News, that Syaifful was supposed to go home that day.
She said he had secured a vaccinated travel lane (VTL) bus ticket for 24 February and had also already prepared a COVID-19 rapid antigen test result for the trip.
Hearing about their son's death, Syaifful's father and mother said they are still in shock that he had "returned home for good in a coffin"
In an interview with The New Paper, Syaifful's father said his son had been working in Singapore for five years to support the family.
They last saw Syaifful, the eldest of four children, in January.
He was laid to rest back home at a cemetery in Batu Pahat.
Charity organisation 1ThirdMedia Movement had helped organise the transport of the deceased's casket from Singapore Funeral Services in Toa Payoh to Tuas Checkpoint on the same day.
