A Policeman Was Stabbed To Death And Two Foreigners Were Shot Dead In Klang On 4 March 2014

A policeman was slashed to death and another seriously injured when they were attacked by a group of Indonesians while patrolling one of the crime hotspots in Klang early today.

The incident occurred around 5am while the two policemen, Kpl Raja Aizam Raja Mohd, 53, and Kpl Mohd Aidil Mustafa, 29, were patrolling the area in a police car.

A Fight Broke Out When The Policemen Tried To Search The Suspects

Kpl Mohd Aidil Managed To Wrestle Back His Partner's Pistol. He Then Used His Own Gun To Fire At The Suspects.

Aidil, who was badly injured in the scuffle, grabbed the pistol from the suspect and shot dead two of them before help arrived, according to initial investigations.

Raja Aizam was found slumped in a drain. He was rushed to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Mohd Aidil was also sent to the hospital where he was reported to be in critical condition.

Corporal Raja Aizam Raja Mohd, 53, died from injuries to the head while Mohd Aidil Mustafa, 29, sustained facial and head injuries in the 5am incident at Taman Sentosa, some 40km from Kuala Lumpur.

Four foreigners believed to be Indonesians, three of them women, have been arrested after a policeman was slashed to death in a scuffle with a group of foreigners at Taman Sentosa here.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar who went to the hospital confirmed the case. "Attacking the police is too much and extreme. We are investigating the cause of the attack," said Khalid.

He added that incidents such as this resulting in the attack and slaying of policeman could not be tolerated and allowed to happen. "The police are issuing a stern warning to everyone, especially foreigners, to not to take the law in their hands," he said. "My personnel are working to trace the other assailants," he added.
