Over 20 Residents At Pelangi Damansara Flats In PJ Test Positive For COVID-19

Over 20 residents of the Pelangi Damansara flats in Petaling Jaya recently tested positive for COVID-19

According to Sinar Harian, a total of 23 tenants were identified as COVID-19 positive yesterday, 21 October.

A representative from the Petaling district health office noted that 760 residents in Block B have undergone initial screenings

Dr Abdullah Shafie told the Malay daily,  "We started screening since 6.30am, involving those who are showing symptoms."

He then added that the screening will be completed at Block B first before resuming with Blocks C, D, E, and F.

Meanwhile, Harian Metro reported that a team of police officers have been stationed at the premises.

Petaling Jaya district police chief ACP Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said, "It is to make sure that the screening goes smoothly."
