PDRM Is Offering 60% Discount On Summons Until 31 March

Traffic offenders can now pay through the app or at their nearest police headquarters.

In conjuction with the 216th anniversary of Police Day, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is offering a 60% discount on all summons

According to a Facebook post by the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) under PDRM, the authorities will ensure the 60% discount is applicable to all drivers nationwide from 8am to 4.30pm daily, from 20 March until 31 March.

The discount is applicable to all traffic fines except these 10 types of summons:

- Summons involving an accident
- Summons involving court proceedings
- Non-compoundable summons 
- Cutting lanes dangerously 
- Driving on the emergency lane
- Running a red light
- Traffic mistakes including heavy vehicles (lorry)
- Cutting over double lines
- Illegal exhaust modifications
- Summons stated as 'Op Selamat'

Traffic offenders can pay online via the MyBayar Saman app or over the counter at the nearest police headquarters in their district

Drivers interested in paying via app can find the MyBayar Saman online portal here.

The app can also be downloaded via Google Playstore, Apple App Store, and the HUAWEI AppGallery.
