Penang Man Assaults Wife & Daughter With Chair Because They Did Not Close The House Door
The man, having assaulted both women, also threatened to kill them.

A 44-year-old man in Taman Desa Sena, Tasek Gelugur, Penang beat his wife and daughter with a chair for not closing the house door
The domestic assault took place in the family's house at around 11.45am yesterday, 13 May.
According to Seberang Perai Utara district police chief ACP Noorzainy Mohd Noor, the man, who is a Muslim convert, became enraged when his 19-year-old daughter did not close the house door.
He said the father then took a chair from the living room and hit his daughter with it.
When his 51-year-old wife tried to intervene, he also hit her in the process.
The man, having assaulted both women, also threatened to kill them.
Following which, the wife lodged a police report.
Noorzainy said, acting on the report, police have since arrested the suspect.
"The suspect admitted to hitting his wife and daughter with the chair," New Straits Times quoted him as saying, adding that the case is being probed under Sections 324/506 of the Penal Code.
The man, who is formerly from the army and now works in a factory, has been beating his wife and children for a while now.
However, the issue was never before reported to the police.
"The couple has been married for 20 years and staying in a double-storey house purchased by the wife, who works as a government officer," Noorzainy said in a statement today, 14 May.
Since last year, the couple has not been on talking terms while staying in the same house.
They have been living apart in the house, with the man occupying the downstairs room while his wife staying in the first floor of the double-storey house.
