Perak 'Datuk' Accused Of Molesting 3 Women During A Job Interview

The incidents reportedly happened on Monday between 7.45am to 4.30pm.

Yesterday, 30 July, a company manager in Perak, believed to be a "Datuk", was arrested after three women lodged a report against him for outraging their modesty

Police arrested the man at his home in Rapat Setia, Ipoh, Perak at about 12.45am. 

According to Ipoh police deputy chief Superintendent Mazuki Mat, the alleged incidents took place at his office in Perak State Development Corporation Complex at Jalan Raja Dr Nazrin Shah on Monday, 29 July, Malay Mail reported.

The victims claimed the Datuk had molested them when they attended his office for a company clerk job interview

"One of the victims claimed that the man had held her hands, shoulders and tried to kiss her cheek.

"Another said the man hugged her from behind until she could feel his penis rubbing against her. He was also alleged to have kissed her nape, forehead and wrist," Mazuki said as quoted by The Star Online.

Supt Mazuki also added that the suspect did not talk about any work-related matter during the interviews, but had taken photographs of the victims instead.

The three women attended the interviews separately at 7.45am, 12.30pm, and 4.30pm.

The case is being investigated under Section 354 of the Penal Code for intent to outrage modesty

The suspect has since been released on bail after the police had taken down his statement.
