PM: M'sians Who Make Less Than RM100,000 Annually To Receive RM100 In Their E-Wallets

Eligible individuals must be above the age of 21.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced today, 27 July, that Malaysians above the age of 21 and earning less than RM100,000 annually will receive RM100 in e-wallet credits

According to New Straits Times, Anwar, who is also the Finance Minister, introduced the new initiative at the launch of the "Madani Economy: Empowering the People" blueprint.

He said around 10 million people in the B40 and M40 income category are expected to receive the benefit.

The government will be allocating RM1 billion for the implementation.
