PDRM Still Looking To Identify Burnt Victims Of Car Crash Involving Proton Wira In Pahang

On 19 August, Monday, a Proton Wira carrying three passengers collided with two lorries at Triang, Pekan

The passengers were burnt to death when the car caught fire after crashing into a Mitsubishi lorry before ramming into a Hicom lorry behind it.

Police are urging those with information about the victims to come forward to assist the investigation

No identification could be traced as no fingerprints were obtained due to the charred condition of the victim's bodies.

The passengers are believed to be made up of a man, a woman, and a boy, reported Bernama.

Based on the car's engine, the vehicle registration number was BEG 7068 and was registered in Selangor

However, when police met with the car owner, he claimed that he had sold the car a long time ago.

In addition, New Straits Times reported that Bera district police said that they had not receive reports of missing persons.

Those with information about the victim or family members are urged to contact the nearest police station to assist in the investigation.
