Police Cordon Off Sri Petaling Shoplot After Suspected Bomb Found

An officer in a thick blast suit was seen approaching the suspected bomb.

Police have cordoned off an area in front of a shoplot in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, after an employee allegedly discovered a box suspected to contain a bomb

According to Oriental Daily, the box was placed beside an electrical box, with a note on it reading, "Radioactive bomb/set, 20 pieces."

A Threads user's photo shows the police bomb squad at Jalan Radin Bagus today, 14 September, with one officer in a thick blast suit approaching the box.

Several shops close to the box have shuttered to allow police to carry out their work.
