Mother And Children Injured After A Car Rammed Into Their Motorcycle

A mother and her children suffered injuries after a car rammed into their motorcycle at Kilometer 8, Jalan Paka - Al Muktafi Billah Shah, Terrenganu early this morning, 21 February
Utusan reported that the incident happened around 7.15am when the mother was sending her son and daughter to school.
12-year-old Muhammad Salahuddin Abdul Nasir suffered serious head injuries. Meanwhile his mother, 48-year-old Noor Azizah Talib, and his sister, 11-year-old Najwa Adawiah Abdul Nasir suffered minor injuries.

According to district police chief Superintendent, Baharudin Abdullah, the crash happened when the motorcycle attempted to make a U-turn heading towards Bandar Paka.
However, an oncoming Perodua Alza driven by Mohd Sharul, 25, rammed into them as he could not avoid the motorcycle as she suddenly switched lanes to perform the U-turn.
Both siblings were rushed to Hospital Dungun but Muhammad Salahuddin had to be transferred to Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah Kuala Terengganu for further treatment due his critical condition
Noor Azizah, was treated at a nearby clinic while the Alza driver escaped unhurt. He has also lodged a police report following the accident.
Baharuddin confirmed that the police has received a report and will investigate the case under Section 43 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
