After years of being a prominent fixture in Mutiara Damansara's landscape, the beloved eCurve mall is preparing to make its final bow

The iconic mall, which first opened its doors in 2006 and officially ceased operations in March 2021, will be revamped into a new serviced apartment complex called The Lines.

The New Straits Times reported that demolition is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of this year. 

The Lines is slated for launch in the third quarter of this year

Strategically located in Mutiara Damansara and neighbouring Bandar Utama, Sunway Damansara, Damansara Perdana, Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI), and Kota Damansara, The Lines will be a prime location that's easily accessible to top spots in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur.

The Lines sales gallery will open its doors to the public in June 2024, offering prospective buyers a glimpse into the future of Mutiara Damansara's skyline.

Some key things to know about The Lines:

1. Standing at 67 storeys, it will comprise of four towers with 999 units.
Three units will be for the open market, while the other will be designated for the Servis Apartment Mampu Milik (SAMM) affordable housing scheme.

2. It'll be environmentally and senior-friendly.
It'll have amenities tailored to cater to seniors, including wider doors, accessible bathrooms, and gentle slopes, as well as electric vehicle chargers, rainwater harvesting systems, and advanced waste management infrastructure.

3. The building will house a wellness centre and various retail outlets.

4. You'll be able to walk straight to Mutiara Damansara MRT Station from the development.
There will be a covered walkway, which will take you through the retail component of The Lines.
