Shah Alam City Council Urges Residents To Beware Of Crocodile At Section 7 Lake
MBSA said it is working with PERHILITAN to take further action.
The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) has advised people to exercise caution when visiting the Section 7 lake in Shah Alam after a crocodile was recently sighted
MBSA said it is working with the Environmental Health Department and the Wildlife and National Parks Department (PERHILITAN) to take further action.
"The public is advised to be careful when taking part in recreational activities at the Shah Alam Section 7 lake," it said in a Facebook post.
A video made rounds in Shah Alam community Facebook groups yesterday, 2 September, claiming that a crocodile was sighted near the lake
After a site visit, MBSA has cordoned off the area and put up warnings signs about the crocodile.
The council said it has also installed traps to catch the wild animal.
