Just when you thought we're way past silly viral stunts like the infamous Tide Pod Challenge and the dangerous Pass Out Game, the teens of 2019 somehow found a way to one-up their predecessors with a new (and disgusting) Internet challenge
Yep, we've graduated from whacking cockroaches with slippers to straight up putting them on faces
As far as we can tell, the so-called "Cockroach Challenge" may have originated from Burmese teen Alex Yung. His Facebook post, showing a cockroach resting on his cheek, has been shared over 18,000 times at the time of writing.
For some reason, young people from Myanmar as well as the Philippines and Indonesia decided to take on the challenge, and... ugh
We have no idea how this girl found so many cockroaches to put on her face, but here's hoping she really scrubs her face afterwards. :/

The good news is, we haven't come across any "Cockroach Challenge" contenders from Malaysia... so let's keep it that way, guys. KILL IT WITH FIRE.
