Ali Tinju Has Yet Another Racist Thing To Say To The Malaysian Chinese
"Shut your mouth, don’t question other races."
In a sudden fit of rage, Malay Army Veterans Association president Ali Tinju has branded the Malaysian Chinese community as the "race of cheaters".
He made this controversial statement while shooting accusations at MCA leaders, that recently said the phone scam incident in Kota Raya has nothing to do with race.
Accusing MCA of defending “cheating Chinese”, Mohd Ali Baharom told leaders in the Barisan Nasional (BN) party to stop shifting the blame and to take responsibility for the actions of the ethnic group it represents.
The former soldier whose Merah 1Malaysia movement claims to champion Malay rights told the ruling Chinese party to “school” its people first, after the leaders pointed out that race has nothing to do with dishonest merchants in the wake of an alleged handphone scam at the Kota Raya shopping complex in the city last week.
"I am warning MCA leaders. Shut your mouth, don’t question other races. School your own race first. Your race are cheaters," blasted Ali Tinju, over a phone interview with ProjekMMO, yesterday.
“I am warning MCA leaders. Shut your mouth, don’t question other races. School your own race first. Your race are cheaters,” he said.
“Do they agree with the Chinese trader’s action? Do MCA leaders have nothing better to do than to blame other races when their own race kicks up a fuss, is insolent and cheats?” he quizzed over the phone when contacted yesterday.
Are MCA leaders defending their race who cheat, blackmail, intimidate the rakyat?" questioned Ali Tinju.
ProjekMMO is the Bahasa Malaysia, sister publication of Malay Mail Online.
Continuing his spew of insult, Ali Tinju went on to say that MCA should just leave the BN coalition and join the opposition party, so that it will be easier for "critics" to attack them
He also took his rants a notch higher by accusing MCA of using Barisan Nasional; he said it would be better if they left the ruling coalition and joined the DAP so it would be easier to attack them.
“MCA must be more self-aware and look into the mirror. MCA is sitting on a free chair gifted by Malays. Wake up MCA.
That chair in the Cabinet is also a free seat. If MCA does not take care of its race, better to get out of BN. Go join DAP. Easier for us to attack,” the news portal reported him as saying.
Responding to Ali Tinju's sudden hate comments against the Chinese people, MCA Youth chief Chong Sin Woon said that Ali's opinions do not represent most Malays that are known to be peace-loving, wise and moderate
Mohd Ali Baharom, better known as Ali Tinju, should “keep his mouth shut”, says MCA Youth chief Chong Sin Woon.
Instead, Chong said, Ali Tinju only represented a radical group which was racist and extreme and did not represent Malays in general.
“He should shut up and stop creating racial tension in the country.
He said it was obvious that Ali did not understand how to live in a modern multi-racial country like Malaysia.
Just two days ago, on Monday, 21 December, Ali Tinju made equally racially sensitive remarks about the Chinese community, calling the Chinese traders "unethical" and "irresponsible blackmailers", referring to the recent phone scam incidents
He said the fight was a consequence of the actions of unscrupulous Chinese handphone traders who dominated the shopping complex and would not have happened if they had been ethical and respected consumer rights.
“I support 100 per cent the actions of customers who are dissatisfied because I 100 per cent blame the Chinese merchants who are unethical, irresponsible, blackmail, cheat and twist facts. This is what should be punished really.
“Hitting is not right but we can’t talk because they are angry and emotional. Maybe it’s the way the seller was insolent when speaking to Malays,” Mohd Ali said.
Just hours after he made that statement, he was arrested and the police obtained a two-days remand order under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code
Police obtained the remand order from a magistrate at a hearing held at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters this morning.
The self-proclaimed leader of the "red movement", also known as Ali Tinju, was arrested yesterday around 7pm and held at the Dang Wangi lockup.
Kuala Lumpur CID chief Zainuddin Ahmad, said investigations into Ali Tinju would be held under the Sedition Act.
From "Cina babi" to "kurang ajar", the Malaysian Chinese community has been receiving a great of deal of attention from the local politicians this year:
