A video of a Thai primary school teacher greeting her students in the morning has recently gone viral
Nattaya Nat approaches her students in the most heartwarming and fun ways possible and they really enjoy it.
According to NextShark, the 25-year-old primary school teacher teaches at Banpruewai School in Chachoengsao province, south-central of Thailand.
In the video, she can be seen greeting her students one by one before they enter the class
While most Asian schools typically require students to behave formally with their teachers, Nat approaches her students in a different manner.
In the morning, Nat stands by the door waiting for her students to enter the classroom.
Behind her is a signboard that gives the students four options to choose from while queueing up to greet their teacher: a hug, a handshake, a fist bump or a high-five.
In just a week, the video has garnered 3.7 million views and over 36,000 shares on Facebook
Many netizens praised Nat for being so warm and approachable to her students, with some saying that they missed going to school.
“Now I want to go back to school,” said one comment, while another hoped their child would “have a teacher like this”.
Some also lamented not having a teacher like Nat in their schooling days. As one user put it, “Why didn’t we have something like this when we were students?”
