A video showing two men attacking an employee at a mamak in Cyberjaya, Sepang has gone viral on social media

In the one-minute-and-31-second video, a man can be seen punching the employee while the latter tries to distance himself from the attacker.

The first assailant, who is believed to be drunk, continues beating the employee, while the man in the red cap starts throwing plates at him.

The men can be heard shouting, "You gonna call the police? Call lah" and "Who's your boss, I want his number".

Other mamak staff try to intervene but are not successful.

A separate two-minute video on Facebook shows the first assailant having trouble standing after stepping out of the premises.

According to a person at the scene, the staff told him that the brawl started after the assailant took a piece of fried chicken from the food display with his bare hands

"It happened at about 7.30pm on 16 March. The man was drunk," the bystander told SAYS, who wished to be known only as Datura.

"He picked up a fried chicken from the counter with his hands and the staff advised him not to do so. The man was upset and started raging," he explained.

When asked whether the employee sustained any injuries from the attack, Datura said the victim surely had bruises as the man had hit him continuously.
