Video Shows A Man Seemingly Stealing 2 iPhones From Sales Counter And Running Away

In a CCTV footage posted on Facebook, a man is seen seemingly stealing two iPhones from an electrical appliance shop at a mall and making a run for it
The footage was uploaded last night, 20 March, by a Facebook page called 'Malaysian Chinese News'. The page has over 51,000 followers, and the video post has been viewed close to 6,000 times.
The incident happened at around 3.30pm on 17 March, as per the timestamp on the CCTV footage. While the location cannot be independently verified, it was alleged that it happened in the USJ area.
In the video, the man is seen talking to a salesperson
As the salesperson places two iPhone boxes on the counter, the man is seen quickly grabbing them and running away. The salesperson is seen panicking and running after the man, followed by several others.
The footage, which is slightly less than three minutes long, ends abruptly.
It isn't clear if the man was apprehended.
At the time of writing, there has been no update or statement from the authorities.
