Authorities have just busted a factory in Vietnam that was caught reselling used condoms

Việt Nam News reported that more than 320,000 condoms were being washed and repackaged as new for customers.

Vietnam Television (VTV) revealed footage of multiple large bags carrying the used contraceptives at a factory near Ho Chi Minh City.

The used condoms were boiled in water, dried, and reshaped on a wooden phallus

According to state newspaper Tuoi Tre, the owner of the factory, Pham Thi Thanh Ngoc, admitted to receiving used condoms every month from an unknown man. 

Police busted the factory to discover about 360kg worth of used condoms that were about to be recycled and sold.

It is unclear how many recycled condoms have already been sold.

The 34-year-old woman has been detained.
